A descendant of Javier Carrera, the Betsy Ross of Chile who along with her legendary, battle hardened brothers played a huge role battling for Chilean Independence, Javiera Díaz de Valdés, the spunky Santiagan with the pink streaks in her hair, naturally has a special taste for freedom.
